One of the areas that has taken much of our focus has been in the dying area. The majority of the yarns dyed and woven at Humphries Weaving are natural fibres. Silk, cottons and wools are the yarns most often utilized and being 100% biodegradable, are ultimately some of the most sustainable fibres to dye and weave.

Visit us at the Historic Buildings, Parks & Gardens Event 2019
Read moreThe Historic Buildings, Parks & Gardens Event 2019 (HBPGE) is held on Tuesday 12th November 2019 at the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre, Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London SW1P 3EE. The event is open from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm and we look forward to welcoming visitors to stand F48 alongside our colleagues Heritage Trimmings.
Every project is special for our team at Humphries Weaving and so where possible we have included project overviews on our website. As well as details about the fabric development, design and yarn composition we have also featured images of the fabric in its final location. Among a wide variety of uses this includes curtains, walling, bed drapes and upholstery for furniture.
