These fabrics encompass plain effects and all over textured surfaces. The historically accurate plains we create include Bombazine, Poplin, Lute, Tammy, Banner Cloth, Lustring, Satins and Sarsnet. These are used as both linings and feature cloths and examples can be seen below.

We can manufacture various proportions of ribs and repps and are one of the few companies in Britain that can offer glazing and moiré finishing techniques. Contemporary designers use this type of fabric to create textural surfaces in subtle shades, to work within larger decorative schemes.
