In 2021 Humphries Weaving worked with the Lancia Beta Coupe Volumex owners club to help restore this unique car interior. Although a small scale design, the team worked hard in the Humphries studio to ensure that the design was recreated as close to to the origional as possible.

Seat & door panel restoration

Humphries Weaving were asked to restore an all cotton geometric fabric for the interior of the Lancia Volumex. The fabric is made up of small rectangles with contrasting twills, and woven using a black and blue cotton. The second image shows the origional faded interior, first image shows the woven fabric from our on site mill in Sudbury, Suffolk.

For this project Humphries Weaving were contacted by the production company responsible for the filming of Quests series “Salvage Hunters Classic Cars”.  Curve Media’s requirement was to source a fabric for the interior of a 1970’s Lancia Monte Carlo.
