Her expertise spans private homes and contemporary projects alongside a passion for heritage projects and ceremonial textiles. From US-based projects to recreating the Burlington Damask for Chatsworth House, Charlotte’s knowledge of woven constructions and project management ensures that each textile is beautifully realised.

With a foundation in traditional weaving and an eye for innovation, Charlotte seamlessly blends historical authenticity with modern durability—creating fabrics that honour the past while meeting today’s exacting standards.

We are delighted to share this thrilling project with @highclere_castle. We were trusted to reimagine fabric from the Merica bedroom, their exquisite Indian crewel work. Using original designs as our foundation, we meticulously hand-drew and developed the pattern, bringing it to life through expert embroidery weaving techniques and adding in personal touches such as Lord and Lady Carnarvon initials.

It was a pleasure to collaborate with Highclere, incorporating personal touches within the design to honour the history of this remarkable piece while ensuring it remains a treasure for generations to come.

A special thank you to Highclere Castle for allowing us to share this wonderful project, we can’t wait to see the furniture upholstered.

The Dundas Sofa is one of the finest examples of B

The Dundas Sofa is one of the finest examples of British craftsmanship in the decorative arts—a collaboration between architect Robert Adam and cabinetmaker Thomas Chippendale, commissioned in 1764 for Sir Lawrence Dundas' London home. Now a centrepiece of Grand Designs: Neoclassical Taste in the 18th Century at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, this remarkable piece has been meticulously reupholstered in a crimson silk damask, woven by us to honour its 18th-century origins.

Using original fabric threads discovered on the sofa’s frame, our team carefully colour-matched the precise shade of red, ensuring historical accuracy. The result is a fabric that not only preserves the integrity of this exceptional sofa but also echoes similar designs from Dumfries House, further deepening its provenance.

Stepping into the Cumberland Art Gallery at Hampto

Stepping into the Cumberland Art Gallery at Hampton Court Palace is like stepping into history. While the gallery is home to masterpieces by Rembrandt, Holbein, and Caravaggio, the walls themselves tell their own story—adorned with exquisite silk moiré, woven and finished using centuries-old techniques.

Humphries Weaving was entrusted with recreating these striking wall coverings, meticulously colour-matching rich crimson and deep blue silks before applying the intricate moiré finish. The result? A shimmering, undulating effect that brings the space to life, just as it did in the 18th century.
