Sudbury- The Silk Centre of the UK

 

Richard Humphries was recently invited to a round table interview with BBC Radio Suffolk’s lunchtime host, Lesley Dolphin, for her feature ‘Dolphins Darts’. The series, which aired last week, put the spotlight on Sudbury, its close association with the Silk trade and how it flourishes as a modern town.

 

Lesley was also joined by Sudbury representatives Mark Bills; Executive Director of Gainsborough House, Robert Crighton; The Quay Theatre artist in residence, Sue Tibbetts; from the Sudbury Ephemera Archive and Jackie Skillicorn of charity, The Bridge Project.
