The Lancia Montecarlo was produced in Italy from 1975 to 1981. On the image on the right is the second series which was introduced in 1980. Peter Hunt commissioned Humphries Weaving to produce the “wave” fabric for the seats and door panels.

The upholstery fabric on this series 2 Lancia Montecarlo model differs with its wave appearance from the original small check version, however we used the same cotton and wool construction from the original. The fabric we restored had a small wave figure on a natural ground. This restoration of the interior seat & door panels was for our client Peter Hunt, for the project he commissioned upholsterer Rob Green Car Seat Upholstery Repair | RGUpholstery | Astley
